6 Months!!

Today is our 6th Month Anniversary! It's hard to believe that it has already been six months. The time has just flown by! Today I've been thinking back to August 26th and all of the wonderful memories. That was the best day of my life. It was perfect. I feel like the luckiest girl in the world to be married to my best friend. Spencer is the most patient, selfless, and loving husband. He is constantly doing sweet things for me and is always making me laugh. I'm so blessed to have him. I love you Spencer!

Valentine's Day!

Valentine's Day this year was so perfect! Spencer and I did some fun little things for each other that made the day so romantic and fun. He made the day so special for me. Celebrating our first Valentine's Day together as a married couple was amazing... one I'll never forget. Here are a few pics of the day.

Before I left early for work, I taped a bunch of little notes around the apartment so Spencer would have a little surprise. This was a line from our wedding song.

When I got home from work, Spencer had cleaned the entire apartment and had a few surprises waiting for me. He got me a bouquet of coral roses (they look really orange here, but they were perfectly coral... my fav), some of my favorite treats, and a couple gifts. He's such a sweetie.

I'm absolutely obsessed with Fresca, and I walked in the door to see this.

We exchanged cards and gifts and then Spencer surprised me with dinner at Tucanos!!! I was so excited! It was absolutely amazing. Thanks babe for making it such a great day! Love you.

Viva Las Vegas

Spencer and I took a little getaway trip down to Las Vegas during our Christmas break. It was so much fun! It was just a few days after Christmas, so all the Christmas decorations were still up in the hotels (pic of the Bellagio below). We had fun shopping, eating at fun restaurants (our new favorite - The Pink Taco at The Hard Rock Hotel), walking down the strip, and just relaxing.

Our tv was broken in our room and it took about ten tries to get the hotel to do something about it, so they gave us $30 of room service for free and an upgrade to a SUITE! We were so excited! It was probably five times the size of our first room with a full kitchen, 2 bathrooms, a living room and dining room, a big screen tv, and a much better view! We woke up the next day and watched our Cougs win in their bowl game while eating cinnamon roll french toast from room service. It was a great way to end our little vacation. It was such a great trip!

L&R ENGAGED!

One of my very best friends in the whole world is getting MARRIED! My little taitor-tot (Lacey Tait) who was my very first friend and best bud since we were toddlers is marrying her man Reagan on May 23rd in the Salt Lake Temple. I am so happy for them! I have no words to describe how excited I am. Reagan text me the morning he was going to do it and when I got the text I started to cry. Spencer started laughing at me. haha I clutched my phone that whole day until I got THE call from Lace. It was so fun to hear the story of how he did it and they even got it on film. They are so adorable and such a cute couple. Yay for the newly engaged couple!! Congratulations you two!! We love you!

Group Date Night

A couple weeks ago my cute girlfriends got together for a Christmas date night. We went to Malawi's Pizza at the Riverwoods in Provo (which is so amazing by the way). Then we went over to the house that Matt and Tess were house-sitting and made gingerbread houses. It turned out to be pretty funny... with some verrry creative houses. See below and you'll understand.
Lace and Reagan... soon to be Mr. and Mrs. WING!
Matt and Tess
T-Race and Allie Cat
These are our two snowmen...
Tra's is the one on the left with the stunna shades and frosting mohawk. Of course.
My crafty little husband. He pretty much did our whole house.

Matt and Tess built a... a... Mongolian igloo I think they called it?
This is our final product (Mine and Spencer's)
This is Allie and Tracy's take on a candy back yard... Oh I love them.
The Park Lane Panthers, Eastmont Patriots, Jordan Beetdiggers,
Fab Five, and King Henry roomies... love these girls with all my heart!!

Mr. & Mrs. Money

Last weekend Spencer and I were invited to a western themed murder mystery dinner party given by some of Spencer's good friends and their wives. It was up at a mansion up in Midway... the perfect location! It seriously was so much fun! It was the "Murder at the Deadwood Saloon" and we were all given a character to come dressed as and a part to play throughout the night. I was Elizabeth Money, a snobby rich lady from Chicago, and Spencer was my husband, Montgomery Money who was investing in the West. It was a crack up to watch everybody act like their characters and speak in western accents all night. Spencer ended up being the murderer, and I was completely clueless. He did a great job throwing us off his trail. It was such a fun night and I completely adore that entire group.

O Christmas Tree!

We just finished decorating our very first Christmas tree! It was a fun project. We thought we were going to go to a tree lot and buy a real one, but when we realized the money that was going into the tree, a stand, and lights we decided that we might as well splurge a little on a fake one that we can use year after year. So... we headed off to the all amazing Target with a bunch of our wedding gift cards and wah lah! We bought this pretty little thing. I have been on the look out for pretty Tiffany blue ornaments and with the help of my cute mom we found a bunch of cute ones. I also used some vintage ornaments, burlap garland, and a hint of red with some berries. Oh I LOVE Christmas time! Decorating our condo has been a lot of fun for me.:)

Merry Christmas!
