ONE YEAR!

Spencer and I have been married one year! I can't believe it! The time has just flown right by. No words can describe how amazing this last year has been. Spending every day with my best friend and husband is an absolute dream. Spencer is the most wonderful husband. He brings out the best in me. He also treats me like a princess. I love every minute of being his wife! It has been fun looking back and talking about our favorite memories from our wedding day. It was the best day of my life! Every moment and every detail was just perfect.

Spencer is the funniest person I know (especially when he dances in the living room or raps instead of talking like a regular person). A few more things I love about my husband: he holds my hand, he does the dishes, he surprises me with homemade dinner after work, he enjoys hanging out with my family, he bleeds cougar blue, he surprises me with flowers at my work, he watches my dumb t.v. shows with me, he patiently waits while I get ready, he always opens the door for me, he tells me I'm beautiful, he's super smart and takes his education seriously, he plans the best dates, he sits with me on the kitchen floor when my blood sugar is low while I drink fruit punch, he gives great advice, he never talks poorly about other people, he loves my doggy, he's a worthy priesthood holder and gives me blessings, etc. etc. etc. I love this man with all my heart! <3

Spencer planned the most fun weekend in Park City to celebrate our first anniversary! It was so much fun to spend a romantic weekend together before our lives get even crazier with school starting this week. We stayed at the West Gate Resort at the Canyons, shopped, ate great food, slept in, swam, and had some surprises for each other. Spencer gave me an adorable personalized necklace with both of our initials on it, some clothes, and some other little surprises. I wanted to get Spencer something special that would always remind him of our first anniversary. I bought him a Nixon watch that he can always look down at. He loved it! It was such a great weekend! ...one I will never forget.

Best Anniversary I could have wished for!

Wow...

I know, I know... it has been way too long since I have blogged. Here's an update... 20 things that Spencer and I have been up to the past several months... including lots of instagram pics, of course!

1. We've almost been married a year! August 26th is almost here! ...I think my husband's pretty much the greatest.

2. I'm working at Vivint as an administrative assistant. Spencer's working as a research assistant for the Dean of Religion at BYU -- doing some crazy stuff with bananas... you'll have to ask him about it sometime.

3. Spencer took me snowboarding for the first time since I broke my elbow. It felt great to get back on the mountain.

4. Spencer turned 23 on April 12th! I had a few surprises planned for him, including a golf cupcake-cake and a swimming date in the crater in Midway. If you haven't done it... you need to!

5. When finals were over, Spencer and I took a weekend getaway to Vegas!

6. My BF Lacey got married in May! She was such a stunning bride. I gave her a fun bridal shower at my parents' new home. It was a blast! My other gorgeous friend Grace (and Mike) and cousin Brittany (and Ridge) also got married. Spencer's long-time friend CJ married Audrey too! I love weddings! So happy for all of them!

7. I turned 22 on June 5th and my sweet hubby planned a day of surprises for me. He sent me for a massage, took me to see the otters at the aquarium (my all time favorite animal), built me the most amazing aqua-colored door shelf and took me on a 4-wheeling adventure. My mom also planned THE cutest chevron-themed birthday dinner for me with the fam. It was such a great day!!

8. We went on an overnight camping adventure with the Childs and the Smiths (Spencer's childhood friends). We absolutely love hanging out with them!

9. Spencer went to his first REAL Salt Lake game with my family. It was great fun.

10. We went to the Pleasant Grove fair with Matt and Autumn. Spencer and Matt went on the most nauseating ride I've ever seen... and they loved it! haha

11. Spencer took me to the Keane concert at the Gallivan Center in Salt Lake. We have definitely found our favorite summer music!

12. We went to two rodeos - the Lehi Rodeo with my fam (Nasher baby had his cowbaby boots and hat on!) and the Draper Days Rodeo with my girls and their hubbies (Matt + Tess and Lacey + Reagan).

13. We lay out at the pool on as many Saturdays as we can. Love it.

14. Spencer and I went to Sugarhouse Park on the 4th of July to watch the fireworks. It was such a great, long fireworks show!

15. I did a subtle melt/ombre to my hair.

16. We went to Cali with all of the Snyder family! We stayed in Oceanside, went to Knott's Berry Farm, swam at the beach and played with all the kiddos! I miss them already!

17. We moved to Pleasant Grove two weeks ago from Orem. Matt and Autumn finished off their basement into a beautiful, new basement apartment for us. We love it! ...and we love our new landlords. ;)

18. We're pretty much obsessed with the OLYMPICS! I made these cute cupcakes for a fun Olympic Day we had at work. GO TEAM USA!

19. We just got back from Echo Lake in Montana (our sis-in-law Brynn's family has a cabin up there on the lake). We had such a fun time! Wake surfing was my favorite! ...even though I got clobbered in the face with the fin on the bottom of the board! haha

20. Did I mention we've almost been married a year? :)

Blogging. I promise I'll be better!
